History of the Company’s development

We built our company literally from scratch. We started our operations with running a Customs Agency, and today we employ over 240 people in five locations in Poland. Our commitment and experienced team of employees has translated into dynamic development. Over the past 18 years, we have become a logistics company that provides its Customers with international services at the highest level.

2004
Beginning of the business

In 2004, the Langowski firm was founded, whose services were focused on the Customs Agency’s operations.

2005
Sea forwarding

Establishment of the sea forwarding department. To this day, it is one of the main areas of the company’s activity.

Road forwarding

The Langowski Shipping has entered the market of road transport services.

2010
Obtaining the AEO certificate

Obtaining the AEO certificate that allows us to apply simplified procedures in customs clearance.

2012
Rail forwarding

Establishment of the rail transport department to handle transport within the framework of the New Silk Road.

Air forwarding

First orders for air forwarding services in the company and organization of the new department.

Company's first own warehouse

Opening of the Company’s first own warehouse in Gdynia at Północna street.

Opening of the warehouse in Gdansk

Opening of the warehouse in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre GLP (formerly: Goodman) in Gdansk, close to the DCT container terminal.

Obtaining the IATA CASS certificate

Obtaining the IATA CASS certificate, which favourable affected the reduction in prices of air transport services.

Transformation, renaming and rebranding

Turning point in the Company’s 15-year history – change of the legal personality, logotype and name. The former Langowski Shipping Halina Langowska Sp. z o.o. was changed into Langowski Logistics Sp. z o.o. Sp. k.

Awarding the ISO 9001 certificate
The ISO 9001:2015 certificate confirms that the Management System of Langowski Logistics has been approved very proffesional with the requirements of the standards and the range of offered services.

Opening of the warehouse in Lodz
Opening the fourth own warehouse located in the modern logistics park Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub in Lodz, close to the rail container terminal, the A1 and A2 highways and the S8 express road.

Awarding the ICS certificate

The Internal Control System (ICS) allows servicing international exchange of strategic importance (military cargo, strategic cargo).

Opening of the second
warehouse in Gdansk
It is the company’s second warehouse operating in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre GLP. Intended for the storage of goods with non-standard dimensions.

Implementation of WMS system
in our warehouses
The system allows customers to have online 24h access and control over the amount of stored, received and issued own goods in the warehouse.

New location
warehouse in Gdynia
The new warehouse in Gdynia is newer (class “A”) and bigger (5 400 sq.m.). It also offers 1,200 sq.m. of storage and transhipment area. It is located near the BCT terminal, at 27 Kontenerowa Street.

Joining the XLP network

At the beginning of February, the company joined the logistics network associating the most experienced logistics companies specializing in Project Cargo services from around the world.

We have been awarded by the British Customs Clearance Consortium and we have become the exclusive partner of the consortium in Poland.

Transformation of a limited partnership
into a limited liability company
On 1 June 2021 there was a transformation of our company from a limited partnership operating under the name: Langowski Logistics Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. into a limited liability company which will continue to operate under the name: Langowski Logistics Sp. z o.o.

On 1 July 2021 Langowski Logistics opened a branch in Małaszewicze responsible for customs matters and forwarding services.

Increasing warehouse space in Łódź

At the beginning of March, the warehouse in Łódź increased its space by an additional 4,600 m2. Thus, the total area of ​​the warehouse is 8,300 m2.

Increasing warehouse space in Warsaw

The warehouse in Warsaw increased the space by 5,200 m2, reaching 10,000 m2. Thus, the total warehouse space of the company has increased to 34,000 m2.

Joining the WCA Projects network

At the beginning of July, we joined the WCA Projects network operating within WCAworld. Network partners have proven experience in commercial, military and / or governmental projects and are fully committed to providing their customers with excellent service.

Opening of a new
warehouse in Gdańsk

In mid-August, the company opened a new, larger warehouse in Gdańsk with an area of ​​17,500 m2. The warehouse is located in the Pomeranian Logistics Center GLP in Gdańsk.

New headquarters

At the beginning of January, the headquarters of Langowski Logistics was changed. From 16 Hutnicza Street, the company moved to a modern office building at 3c Łużycka Street in Gdynia.

Transshipment yard in Gdynia

On June 1, 2023, we officially opened a new transshipment yard dedicated to non-standard cargo (Project Cargo) with an area of 10,000 sqm.
