Dear Partners and Employees,

The first quarter of 2020 surprised us with sad news, first from China and then from around the world, including Poland. I mean the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Due to the still changing situation and the condition of outbreak introduced in Poland, we have taken steps to ensure the safety of our employees and prevent the spread of coronavirus in our country.

First of all, we decided to delegate part of employees to remote work (if their professional duties allow it). Home office mode is still practiced by us. We have employees who have been working with us this way for years. Thanks to working in the home office mode, we provide our clients uninterrupted service and we take care for their loads. We work on a normal basis. Our employees are motivated and efficient. They have current contact with our clients.

Employees who were not delegated to remote work – e.g. warehouse and internal control employees – were provided with hygienic and safe working conditions in the office. First of all, they were equipped with disinfectants for hands, electronics and desk tops. Also they must take the distance of min. 1.5m to each other.

Furthermore, we implemented temporary regulations in our warehouses during the pandemic to avoid the spread of coronavirus and to protect all the visitors and employees. The regulations refer to the appropriate protective outfit of our employees and valid for both westbound and eastbound shipments. We have also implemented temporary regulations for drivers coming to our warehouses in Gdynia, Gdansk, Warsaw and Lodz. The regulations apply to the use of disposable gloves and to cover the mouth and nose.

From this place, I would like to thank all those employees who do not in “home office” mode and work in our offices and warehouses every day, as well as those who work remotely. Your mobilization and efficiency in this situation are commendable. Thanks to you, we are able to provide our services in the same way as always, professionally and comprehensively.

Finally, I would like to thank all our clients and contractors for their understanding and support in this difficult period for all of us.

I deeply hope that soon – with the help of the government, devoted medical staff and in accordance with the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate in Poland – we will overcome the pandemic and we return to our everyday life before outbreak.

Yours sincerely,

Halina Langowska
